Local multiplayer update coming soon

Greetingssss art appreciators!

Over the past couple of weeks, we have been working on an update that adds some further polish, revises new game flow, and introduces local multiplayer. Here's a taste of what's to come!

We're still ironing out the specifics, but at this stage, we are expecting to be able to support at least 4 concurrent players, who all contribute co-operatively toward the level's score target.

Players can collide with each others' tails, giving more opportunities for "tail surfing." Tubular!

To help make players find the right experience for them, we are adding a new game setup screen that has some fancy graphics for common gameplay settings.

"Zen mode" has been renamed to "Timed mode" and "Untimed mode" to better communicate its purpose, and we've added a new "Grabby frames" option that allows players to climb on the frames of consumed paintings. Flexible!

Last, but not least, we've been working on a new introductory level (which can be skipped) that provides a "playground" space for new players to get familiar with the game's controls and platforming before they need to worry about timers and scores adding additional pressure.

The intro level also has some triggers to get some gameplay tips from the tour guide. Informative!

If you have played ART for Snakes at the Level Up event currently running Hobart, Tasmania, you have already seen this new version.

We're very thankful for the attention and feedback we've received from players, and we're looking forward to sharing the update with everybody when it's ready!
